The Long Game

Ten years of pocket money, one question each year: spend it, bank it, or plant it? Life will throw things at you, and so will your friends. At twenty, you open the jars.

Hi! I'm Pip. Every year you'll earn some money. You choose what to do with it. Let's see who you are at twenty.

No accounts and nothing sent anywhere: your game is saved in this browser only. The numbers are simplified on purpose. A savings account pays about 3% a year here; the "planted" money behaves like a broad stock-market fund, which goes up most years and down some years, and has averaged around 7% a year over long stretches. Real life has taxes, fees and surprises this game leaves out.
